Kokanee Fishing and Guide On Lake Roosevelt
Sep 03, 2019
An outstanding day of Kokanee fishing on Lake Roosevelt! We fished the afternoon from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm. We have been fishing on the south end of Lake Roosevelt along the rock walls where the points are around 160" of water. Downriggers have been set today at 80'-90' deep. I have also noticed that the Kokanee are biting better in the afternoon from 2:30-4:00 pm. For bait, I have been using white corn with krill oil on it. Downriggers have been the way to go for fishing for these silver footballs. I have also noticed instead of trolling in a straight line I have been zig zagging the boat changing the dodger speeds when turning. The Kokanee bite is still doing outstanding for us. Good luck and good Fishing Everyone!!!
